Enclave Games Monthly Report: March 2025

— 2 min

Focusing on preparations of the Gamedev.js Jam 2025 took its toll, and so the Monthly Report for March is out more than three weeks into April.

Enclave Games - Monthly March 2025

Games

Vibe coding with Cursor! I don’t have anything to show (yet), but I did play with Cursor’s capabilities a bit and I want to get back to coding SO MUCH.

Writing

I’ve completed my personal challenge of publishing a (short) news piece EVERY WORKING DAY throughout March on gamedevjs.com, so it ended up being 21 entries in total: 8 games, 4 tools, 4 events, 3 tutorials, 1 competition, and 1 video.

I’ve caught up with most of the topics from the past few months, but I don’t think I’ll be able to continue with the similar pace in April - even though the posts are short, it all takes time, and I’ll be busy with Gamedev.js Jam 2025 anyway.

Enclave Games - Monthly March 2025: $NOODS challenge

OP Guild

Lots of cool things happening: $NOODS challenge in Gamedev.js Jam, vibe coding experiments, and the emergence of PotNoodleDev.

Events

Gamedev.js Jam 2025 preparations and announcements took most of March.

Enclave Games - Monthly March 2025: Loading and Control API

A new W3C Games Group is about to be created to work on the specification and implementation of the Loading and Control API.

Other

This blog, same as End3r’s Corner and TataDeveloper, are now running on a new engine, Astro. Gatsby got heavy, but the main issue was… the old laptop with the publishing setup died. Fortunately, Alkor helped and now everything’s back, and running as smooth as ever.

Plans for the next month

Finishing touches and announcements, and then actually running Gamedev.js Jam 2025, the sixth yearly edition of the jam already.
