During June the countdown to js13kGames 2024 started, new Gamedev.js Weekly newsletter website was published, we've opened our swag Shop, added Badlucky level in Flood Escape, and announced OP Guild and Arcadia collaboration with cash prizes.

To celebrate thirteenth edition of the js13kGames competition happening this year we've decided to create a dedicated Badlucky level in our Flood Escape game.

A lot has happened in May: from announcing Gamedev.js Jam 2024 winners and sending them all the prizes, through finally writing about my burnout, to looking into the bright future with the newly formed OP Guild which I'm going to lead.

April was all about Gamedev.js Jam 2024: from last minute preparations, through explanations of all the optional challenges (including brand new js13kGames one), the start and the theme announcement, to showcasing all the entries submitted this year, and encouraging voting as the winners will be announced in a couple of days from now.

Join the very first js13kGames challenge in Gamedev.js Jam 2024!

It took four years to execute, but now the ongoing (started April 13th, ends April 26th) fifth edition of the online Gamedev.js Jam have a brand new challenge: js13kGames.

Solid work done in February: from releasing a Badlucky t-shirt, joining WebDX group, publishing Gamedev.js Survey results on GitHub, to writing a bunch of news here and there.

Enclave Games in 2022, and plans for 2023

The first half of the year went rather ok, the second - not so good. From the current point of view it seems those were the worst twelve months since at least a couple of years, if not ever - various health issues of all our bunch made us fail to deliver multiple projects planned for 2022.
