The first half, or even two thirds, of September's time went straight into js13kGames 2023. The rest of the month was spent on trying to catch up on all the other things.
The first half of the year went rather ok, the second - not so good. From the current point of view it seems those were the worst twelve months since at least a couple of years, if not ever - various health issues of all our bunch made us fail to deliver multiple projects planned for 2022.
Last month marked the transition between wrapping up Gamedev.js Jam 2022 and beginning the serious preparations to js13kGames 2022, with a short visit to Amsterdam in the middle.
Even though I dropped a few talk opportunities to focus on Gamedev.js Survey and Jam preparations, I still ended up attending a bunch of events and even speaking at some of them.
We've spent January trying to catch up on things that were suppose to be finished last year already (mostly js13kGames-related), but got delayed by various reasons.
The past year was a solid one for Enclave Games. Not perfect, but definitely good - we've focused on Web Monetization the first half of 2021, while experimenting with Decentralization in the background the past twelve months.
It's been almost a year since our Web Monetized HTML5 Game Development grant project was announced in July 2020, and even though we had quite significant delay of four extra months on top of original six, I'm really happy with how the project went for us.
Our Grant for the Web project was announced in the middle of July 2020 - it had a somewhat generic name Web Monetized HTML5 Game Development since it was actually a few (six to be exact) smaller projects revolving around monetizing web games: three Enclave Games creations, js13kGames competition, an eBook, and a Gamedev.js Survey.
November was a strange month - busy, but with many small tasks that are hard to summarize in the report, so it looks weirdly empty. Let me assure you we weren't having any vacations or anything though.
October was quite an active month: handling js13kGames, giving a talk at an online meetup, and writing lots of blog posts.
